Well, I sure know to keep things current don't I? We've been real busy the past 4 months, with TimeMachine expanding operations into uncharted waters such as Will's Sports Pub in Colorado Springs. What a fun place to play. It even has a brass pole in the middle of the dance floor in case Bill feels like reverting to his old habits and putting on a show (hasn't happened yet by the way but you never know...) Last night at the Crystola Road House we opened for Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans and it was a gas. If you haven't seen these guys yet you're really missing out. What great song-stories and the band is hot. Well, gotta go now but I promise to keep up with my journal entries in the future.

Man this month went fast! We decided to cut down on our playing except when we have a 2-nighter at one place, otherwise we'll only play Friday or Saturday if it's a one-night stand. It just gets too cold at night to have to load and unload so often at one o'clock in the morning. Thanksgiving was great, except for the turkeys of course. Next month we'll be playing at Bennys in Colorado Springs and that promises to be a great gig. bennys is always fun - good room and good folks. I finally broke down and bought myself a new Martin HD28v that I plan on only using for recording sessions, so I'll keep you posted on how that all turns out. Take care and stay safe on these mountain roads OK?
Talk to ya next month.

October 2008
I can't believe it's the end of October already! My favorite month of the year! We had a great month for TimeMachine and ended it with a Halloween party at the Crystola Inn. Be sure and check out the pictures. What a blast. Everyone in the band was wearing a costume except for Richard, but no one could tell the difference. This coming month we want to start work on a second live TimeMachine CD, so be sure and check out the website on a regular basis and "keep our feet to the fire". Well I have to upload the Halloween pictures now.
See ya,
Dave

I'm back from Germany and it was a great trip. You can see some pics by clicking on the Westwood link on the bottom of the home page. Last night we played in Crystola without Richard who is in Reno, Nevada. Looks like he found a way out of his ankle bracelet, but he'll be back for Pine Gables next weekend. It's strange playing without one of the main players in TimeMachine, but we reverted to electric guitars and had a great time reviving old songs that we've never played before. The people had a good time too I think; nobody shot at us or threw anything so I guess a good time was had by all.
It's the Fall season now, I know that because I have my Fall season head cold. I've only ever had one cold in my entire life back in 1957, but the damn thing keeps coming back year after year.
Well, stay tuned to Bills email messages and we'll see ya next time around.

Wow, what a rollercoaster ride. The law suit is over and we've made a confidential settlement, which means we can't talk about it, so please don't ask. It is what it is and we are now named TimeMachine. The name really fits, because everyone else in the band seems to keep getting older and older - everyone but me of course. Anyway we promise you a cool journey at every gig with TimeMachine.
